Teachers may incorporate a variety of styles and props including magic circles, stability balls, resistance bands, hand weights, and the Barre method to challenge your core while providing you with a full-body workout.
Please note: Toe socks will now be required for Barre and Reformer Classes. We will be getting some stock of these at the studio soon! This class is designed with your specific needs in mind. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and stability. The Pilates Reformer is a piece of equipment that provides resistance with a series of springs and ropes. We hold a small group class utilizing the Allegro reformers and towers. Adding rings, rollers, balls, and spine corrector barrels and you will develop strength, and flexibility all in one class. It is extremely versatile and exercises are performed on the equipment while lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps, pushing the foot bar, seated on the foot bar, seated on the shoulder blocks, sideways and even upside down! This means many parts of the body are being worked in many different ways, so you can expect to achieve improved overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
